Narrabri Soccer Gala Day

What a great way to spend a warm winters day?!

Palmers Landscapes had an under 6's Soccer team play in the 2016 Narrabri Gala Day which saw the kids play different teams representing various Northern Inland Clubs all day.

Our kids took the 1st game to warm up but then found their stride taking the 2nd game out 3-0, drawing the 3rd, smashing the 4th 4-0 but going down in the 5th by 1. They narrowly missed out on the runners-up medal but they played so hard all day and should be impeccably proud of their sportsmanship and behaviour.

Coach Pete said it "was obvious how much all the kids were improving throughout the day". While he was on hand to tie many shoelaces throughout the games, the kids all played well together and were no doubt exhausted by the end of the final game.

Well done kids, back to our regular Gunnedah rounds next weekend before the season ends in just a few weeks!
