2016 Touch Footy Champions!

The Gunnedah Touch Association Grand Finals were played today and the Palmers Landscapes team emerged the champions in the D Grade Mixed Final!

The weather played nice for the early game and a slight breeze made things a bit more comfortable than most were expecting. We were missing a couple of stars to the Sydney Royal Easter Show in Courtney and Adam, Gerard to an injury, and had a couple of weary ones from a late night post-deb ball but the rest of the team were fired up to give it their best shot. And best shot they did!

Madcore have been fierce competitors all season and were also missing a few key players for the final, they were clever, fast and made us work for it but we managed to hold on in the end taking the game 6-3.
